DANCERS FROM Gold Coast not-for-profit multicultural group Seharum Nusantara will feature next Sunday August 12 in the Gold Coast Multicultural Festival Family Day.
The 2018 Gold Coast Multicultural Festival Family Day will be held at the Southport Broadwater Parklands, running from 10 am until 4 pm and entry to the day is free.
Seharum Nusantara dancers will perform a Papuan dance called Yosean, meaning “Welcome!” at 1 pm.
The Gold Coast Multicultural Festival provides a venue to celebrate and showcase the skills and talents of our city’s diverse cultural communities through a variety of exciting and educational multicultural activities culminating in the main Festival Day.
The annual Festival has been running since 2008 and is one of the few low-cost, family-friendly events that can be enjoyed by all community members.
