Exotic Indonesia Gala Night to Feature Popular Dangdut Music & Dance

THE EXOTIC Indonesia Gala Night to he held December 1 will feature a set of traditional Indonesian Dangdut music.

Dangdut is a very popular dance music style all across Indonesia… its popularity similar to country-rock line dance music in Western countries.

Dangdut is partly derived from Hindustani, Malay, and Arabic music and it is a very popular genre in Indonesia because of its melodious instrumentation and vocals.

Often raunchy, when it starts you can’t stop tapping and it always makes you feel like dancing.

The event will be held in the Quality Hotel Ballroom in Mermaid Waters on Saturday, December 1, 2019 at 6.30 pm.

VP Tika said a lot sold at Seharum Nusantara’s Monthly Bazaar on Sunday September 30.

Other activities at the monthly bazaar saw more than $300 raised for tsunami victims in the Indonesian Island of Sumatra, where six-metre tsunamis have caused massive loss of life and destruction of property.

“We held a minute’s silence for the victims of the Sumatra tsunami and ran fundraisers as part of the September Bazaar activities.”
