GOLD COAST Multicultural Group Seharum Nusantara was recently invited to perform for a special event conducted by the Indonesian Consulate General, in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism and Visit Indonesia Tourism Office (VIVO).

The event, called Flavours of Indonesia, was held at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Hotel on August 29, 2019.

Seharum Indonesia President Tika Evans said it was a really positive experience to be involved.

“It was a real pleasure for Seharum Indonesia to be part of what turned out to be a fantastic day,” she said.

Seharum Indonesia dancers, Sari Pratiwi, Sri Ayu Jati Kartika and Callista Palmer, performed Tari Cendrawasih.

They were accompanied by the soulful sound of Balinese Traditional Musical instruments — Rindik (played by Bpk Nyoman Suma, Bpk Wayan Sudana, Dewa Widiartana and Wayan B Sastrayana).
