Gold Coast’s Seharum Nusantara to Feature in Multicultural Network Harmony Day March 21

GOLD COAST Indonesian multicultural group Seharum Nusantara will feature in this year’s Pop-up Harmony Day, run by the Gold Coast Multicultural Network on March 21.

Harmony Day is an innovative way for local residents to experience and learn about the diverse array of cultures represented on the Gold Coast.

Three busses will transport multicultural groups to various destinations, stopping to display dance, customs, traditional dress and music.

The Central bus will contain Indonesian displays from Seharum Nusantara and also will feature performances from the Gold Coast Samoan community.

First stop will be at the Surfers Paradise State School at 9 am, followed by Queensland Academies Health Sciences at 10.20 am.

The next performances will be at Southport State High at 11.30 with the final act at Gold Coast Private Hospital at 12.30 pm.

All buses will then meet up at Ashmore State School from 1 pm to 3 pm for a finale performance.
