High Fashion Glamour to Feature at Exotic Indonesia Gala Night

SEHARUM NUSANTARA’S Exotic Indonesia Gala Night on December 1 will feature ten models wearing items from ethnic fashion label Negeri Etnik Tebu’s latest collection by Arie Blee.

Seven Gold Coast and three Brisbane models will feature the Tebu garments in the fashion parade.

Arie Blee, creative designer, created the latest Tebu range.

As Arie explains, “The Philosophy of the TEBU collection and design house is to produce garments which are seen as ready to wear to no matter what the occasion or mood.

“TEBU literally translated means Sugar or Sugar Cane ; and this essence transcends through the clothing. The design is asking the wearer to feel the sweetness; the zest for life; the reflection or sense of the moment.”

Arie says TEBU design carries the mission of Indonesian culture and in particular in the field of the signature fabric of Tebu batik and through the creative and intricacies of weavings from various regions in Indonesia.

Her goal is to use TEBU to present Indonesian culture and particular Indonesian fashion to the world.

“TEBU allows us to be proud of using authentic Indonesian products both abroad and in our own country.

“The TEBU range of unique garments varies in concept and can be combined or mixed and match with all or any other selections from the overall collection.

She says that the TEBU Collection uses the Indonesian traditional materials cotton, woven silk and linen. its designs reflect simplicity but still provide an elegant touch to anyone who wears the deliciously colorful and unique TEBU garments.

Signature to TEBU design is the combination of ethnic and modern fashion sense; so it appeals to any discerning wearer and will always draw positive attention and turn heads.

“It has been an honor and a fulfilled dream of mine to bring the TEBU collection to life, and now exhibit it to the world.”
