Seharum Nusanara Gold Coast dancers with Adelaide Indofest manager Brett Caliss.
IN THEIR FIRST major trip interstate, Gold Coast Indonesian dance troupe, Seharum Nusantara (SN), were guest performers at the tenth anniversary of Indofest in Adelaide on October 1st 2017.
The dance troupe’s performance at the festival in Adelaide was an initiative of Seharum Nusantara’s new 2017-18 committee.
Fourteen Seharum Nusantara members comprising dancers and management staff travelled to Adelaide on the October long weekend for the festival.
This Seharum Nusantara dance routine featured dance artists from West Papua and local Gold Coast-based Indonesian dancers.
Seharum Nusantara’s dance performance was very well received by the large audiences including the Indonesian Ambassador Pak Kristiarto Legowo, South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill, Mayor of Adelaide Martin Hease and Governor of South Australia Hieu Van Le.
