DANCERS FROM Gold Coast Indonesian multicultural non-profit group Seharum Nusantara proved to be very popular performers on Gold Coast Pop-up Harmony Day, held this year on March 21.
Harmony Day is an innovative way for Gold Coast local residents to experience and learn about the diverse array of cultures represented on the Gold Coast.
Three busses transported multicultural groups to various destinations, stopping to display dance, customs, traditional dress and music.
The Central bus contained Indonesian displays from Seharum Nusantara and also featured performances from the Gold Coast Samoan community and a dance troupe from Mauritius.
Seharum Nusantara performed at Surfers Paradise State School, Queensland Academies Health Sciences, Southport State High and Gold Coast Private Hospital.
The Grand Finale was held at Ashmore State School.
